Cologne forward Lukas Podolski believes the club's fans have been key to his improved form.
The Germany international has scored three and created a further two goals in his team's last two matches, helping them achieve back-to-back wins to reverse a poor start and climb to 10th in the Bundesliga table.
Cologne coach Stale Solbakken said Podolski is "the best player" in the league at present, but a humble Podolski said he would be nothing were it not for his hometown club's supporters.
"These fans are absolutely unique in the Bundesliga," he told the Bild newspaper.
